In August 2021, four Peace Builders traveled to South Dakota to visit Native American reservations. The young leaders visited Augustana University, Lower Brule, the Badlands, the Black Hills, and Rapid City, SD communities to continue their learning in restorative justice and traditional practices from First Nations people. This documentary will be shared in their outreach program to children in Chicago's under-resourced West and South Side communities. #LeadersofNow

From June 25 to July 8, 2019, the young leaders traveled through the East African country as part of the yearlong Peace Builder leadership program. They participated in educational and interactive activities, including visits to genocide memorials, conversations with survivors and the perpetrators, peace classes at the Kigali Genocide Memorial, meetings with Rwandan youth leaders, home stays with local families, a safari, and attendance at the national July 4th Liberation Day commemoration.
